Voltage restrained overcurrent relays

Relays in the ITV 7x66 series have been designed essentially to provide selective protection of generators in the event of over-loads and heavy internal or external faults.
These relays integrates two three-phase overcurrent units whose operating levels are function of the voltage on the terminals of the protected machine. Whilst the high-set operating unit is always of the independent time type, the low-set unit can have a time/current characteristic of dependent or independent time type, depending of the selected model.

Their modular draw-out case, type R3, may be mounted either as a separate relay, flush or projection mounting, or as an alement in a standard 19" rack cradle.
